Designing “The Tote”

I’m genuinely excited about sharing the process of creating this new handbag/tote—it’s something I’ve wanted to tackle for a long time because I’ve noticed a recurring issue with other bags. With most designs, you’re completely at the mercy of what the bag offers—if it has a fixed laptop slot or three small pockets, that’s all you get. But what if you don’t need a laptop compartment one day? Or what if you’d prefer larger, flexible pockets instead of small ones? Most bags don’t give you the freedom to adapt.

That’s why this tote is different. Inside, it will feature two interchangeable panels, each with a dual-sided design. You can simply flip the panels around to customize the bag’s layout to fit your needs. One side might have organized pockets for work essentials, while the reverse offers larger compartments for weekend use. It’s a solution that finally puts you in control, making the bag as versatile and adaptable as your lifestyle. I’m so excited about how it’s coming together!
